The new roundabout, which has caused a total cost of around 940,000 euros, is to relieve traffic on Karl-Heinz-Kipp-Straße and at the same time improve the connection to the industrial area. In addition to the traffic aspects, an amphibian tunnel and a bat fence were also installed in the course of the construction work, which takes into account nature conservation.

The diversion is signposted and leads from Framersheim via the L 406 towards Gau-Odernheim, further via the L 408, Biebelnheim, A 63 and A 61.
