The planned expansion of the K16 from the Kurpfalz park to the entrance to Wachenheim is significantly more expensive than originally estimated. The amount planned for the measure increases from 2.5 million euros to 3.5 million euros. This means an increase in costs by one million euros, which the district of Bad Dürkheim has to do. The district's own contribution amounts to around 910,000 euros, while the remaining costs are covered by the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
