Rescue for hospital in Bad Kreuznach: contract signed!

On January 2, 2025, the contract was signed to save the St. Marienwörth Hospital in Bad Kreuznach. The medical and nursing facilities of the Franciscan brothers in Bad Kreuznach are taken over by the Kreuznacher Diakonie Foundation. The expected implementation of the merger is planned for February 1st. Up to this point, the facilities remain under the sponsorship of the Franciscan brothers from the Holy Cross.

The affected institutions include the St. Marienwörth hospital, the Palliative base in Rheinhessen-Nahe, the St. Josef retirement home and the Medical Care Center (MVZ) near the Mühlenstraße campus.
