wedding customs and legal framework conditions
The festivities around weddings often contain loud and often risky customs that are shaped by the strong tradition. Wedding corso, which consist of a variety of vehicles, are a widespread phenomenon. However, the customs judgments are often administrative offenses that are only tolerated within certain limits. According to assessments, the participants of a wedding body must observe the road traffic regulations and move as part of the respective regulations.
In the case of wedding trips, approval is theoretically required, but this is only granted for weddings of general interest. Without such approval, participation takes place at your own risk. The police have room for discretion, but tolerates no risk in road traffic.
A wedding corso can thus become an exciting but also problematic experience, especially if the celebrations spread to public space and on motorways. The incidents on the A66 and A57 take the police on alert because they have to protect the safety of road users.
