Saarland's top chefs conquer the top restaurant list 2025!

The list of excellent cooks includes a remarkable variety of talents from different federal states. From Rhineland-Palatinate, Christian Binder and Hans Stefan Steinheuer, both from the Steinheuer's restaurant in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, as well as Clemens Rambichler from Sonnora in Dreis and Thomas Schanz from the Schanz-Restaurant in Piesport are represented. Bavaria sends four top talents into the race with Benjamin Chmura, Jan Hartwig, Tohru Nakamura and Edip Sigl.

The main course, a tranche turbot, is refined with aromas of Aubergine, Miso and Okraschot as well as a hearty kojyu vinaigrette. The elegant atmosphere in the picturesque Schlösschen high above the Moselle, supplemented by round tables in white leather lathes, contributes to the exclusivity of the fine dining experience. The comprehensive wine list with around 700 positions also makes gourmets beat faster.
