District cup quarter-finals: Schönenbach outclasses Olpe 6: 1!

The first two quarter -final games of the district cup in the Middle Rhine soccer district took place on the evening of May 7, 2025. In an exciting meeting, DJK Wipperfeld lost 1: 3 after both teams remained goalless in the first half. The goals were scored in the second half: Linus Müller put Wiehl in the lead in the 61st minute before Florian loved in the 85th minute. In the second game, Rot-Weiß Olpe competed against SV Schönenbach, where Olpe was lost with a clear 1: 6. The remaining two quarter -final games are on the program on Thursday, May 9th. Heiligenhaus meets Hoffsthal at 8 p.m. in a home game, while Frielingsdorf Jan Wellem Berg Gladbach will host at 7:30 p.m. The winners of these encounters secure places in the semi -finals, which is set as follows: Wiehl against Frielingsdorf or Jan Wellem on Wednesday, May 21st, and Schönenbach against Heiligenhaus or Hoffnsthal on Thursday, May 22nd

On October 3, 2024, the final day in the Mittelrhein soccer district will also be held.
