Schreiner story: Mülheim's craft hero is celebrated!
Hans-Erich Pauly from Mülheim an der Moselle was honored for his 50-year voluntary work in carpentry. The honor took place at the end of last year. Obermeister Walter Blasius from the carpenter guild of Bernkastel-Wittlich presented Pauly a thanks document and a present and described him as the "pillar of craft". Blasius thanked him for his significant services in training and regional craft.
Pauly, who worked for decades in the journeyman's examination board of the guild, is also the bearer of the badge of honor in silver from the Schreiner State Association and received the golden badge of honor from the Moselle-Eifel-Hunsrück region.
insights into the future of craft
At another meeting, which was organized by senior master Walter Blasius in Zeltingen-Rachtig, the focus was on the future of the company organization with the support of artificial intelligence (AI). The carpenter and craft visionary Matthias Brack presented the guild members practical examples of the use of AI in small carpenters.
The assembly illustrated how AI can take on tasks, save time in everyday life, whereby Blasius emphasized that these increases in efficiency is also associated with costs. Honors were also issued in this context: In addition to Hans-Erich Pauly, Rudolf Friedrich was recognized for 40 years of volunteering. Friedrich was also appointed to the journeyman's examination board.
Frank Müller and Ingo Rauen received the silver master's certificate for at least 25 years of master dignity. In addition, a planned company visit and guild trip to Löningen in September, organized by Stefan Martini von Remmers, was announced. Blasius emphasized the importance of the commitment of the sponsoring members for the collegial exchange, supported by companies such as Leyendecker Holzland and Hees and Peters.
