The motorcyclist was thrown off the vehicle by the impact and landed in the opposite street ditch. In doing so, he contracted life -threatening injuries and was also flown to a hospital in Trier by a rescue helicopter.

The driver and her toddler in the child seat, on the other hand, only suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital in Wittlich for examination. Significant damage to property occurred on both vehicles, and the total damage amount is around 30,000 euros. In order to clarify the exact course of the accident, the Trier public prosecutor has commissioned an expert opinion. In this situation, an emergency doctor, the DRK, the surrounding fire brigades and the Prüm police were in action.
