Car thieves in Trier: wave of burglaries in underground garages!

In the past few weeks there have been several cars of cars in Trier and the surrounding area. The police have now recorded various incidents and is looking for possible witnesses.

An incident in the underground car park of Anton-Caspary-Straße occurred between Thursday, January 2, at 11 a.m. and Friday, January 3. at 1:30 p.m. Unknown perpetrators hit the slices of three cars and searched the vehicles. In two cases, valuables were stolen.

Investigations also run with regard to several other burglaries that took place between Thursday, December 26, at 8 p.m. and Friday, December 27th, at 9 a.m. The side window of a car was hit on the Gneisenustraße in Trier and two jackets were stolen. In an underground car park of the Kloschinskystrasse, three cars were also broken up between Thursday, December 26th, at 6:15 p.m. and Friday, December 27th, at 7:30 a.m.

Another incident concerned the underground car park in Engelstrasse, where the side window of a car was broken between Thursday, December 26th, at 11:15 p.m. and Friday, December 27th, at 9 a.m. Here, too, the vehicles were searched for valuables.
