City Councilor Eisenberg blocks construction plans: Correction for campsite Ochsenbusch!
In the most recent meeting of the Eisenberg city council, the planned amendment to the development plan "Ochsenbusch" was rejected for the time being. The building committee had previously made a corresponding recommendation. Mayor Peter Funck (FWG) pointed out that approval is only given if the required structural requirements have been implemented by May. The aim of these changes is to correct the existing building sins at the "Ochsenbusch" campsite and to avoid such problems in the future. All costs for the creation of the development plan must be borne by the operator, which could bring additional challenges.
The campsite "Ochsenbusch" is located in the beautiful Palatinate Wald Nature Park in the Donnersbergkreis and extends over a total area of 7 hectares. The scenic surroundings are characterized by gentle hills and dense forests that offer numerous leisure opportunities. The main offers of the campsite include free internet, a small children's playground and diverse leisure activities such as table tennis, free-range chess and a petanque facility. In addition, there are cycling trails, sights and a forest swimming pool in the immediate vicinity that is only two kilometers away.
Detailed equipment of the campsite
The system comprises parking spaces of up to 200 square meters, fully equipped with water and power connections. Permanent parking spaces are also connected to the sewage system. The sanitary facilities are clean and sufficient, which makes your stay more comfortable for the guests. A clubhouse with WLAN is also available, which offers guests a possibility for social gathering.
The land -use planning plays an important role in urban development. It represents the most important control element of urban planning and is a sovereign task of the municipality. Expansion plans must be set up, changed or lifted in a formal procedure. The basis for this is the self -administration guarantee in the Basic Law, which transfers the municipalities for the development of their areas. A final land use plan has been available since July 12, 2022, and current development plans can be viewed for citizens via a geo-information system, which increases transparency in the planning process.
The negative attitude of the Eisenberg city council leaves space for discussions and considerations for the further development of the “Ochsenbusch” campsite. It remains to be seen whether the operator will implement the required requirements on time in order to achieve a positive decision by the city council.
