voting preparation and deadlines
The party's proposal was rejected because it was missing from the necessary support signatures. By January 27, the parties have the opportunity to appeal against this decision. Election notifications are sent to all citizens entitled to vote. Those who do not receive any notification should be obtained by 7. February at the latest.
The application for postal voting is also important because this option is increasingly used. Voters can apply for their voting certificate from the community administration or the city administration in Landau. The deadline for this ends on February 21 at 3 p.m., in exceptional cases, the application can be made until the election day, also at 3 p.m. The election letters for the Bundestag election must be received by the Southern Weinstrasse district administration in good time.
Citizens' decision in Landau
In addition to the Bundestag election, the first civil decision in city history will take place in Landau. The citizens' decision deals with the renaming of three street names that are connected to the namesake of the namesake. A citizens' initiative has successfully collected the necessary number of signatures to enable this decision.
A new district administrator is also elected in the district. The incumbent district administrator Dietmar Seefeldt (CDU) starts again, while he faces challengers such as Anna Bendel (Mainz) and Eugen Zieger (AfD) from Offenbach.
The coming weeks will be crucial, both for the election campaign offers of the candidates and for the citizens who can actively participate in the political process. It is important for the voters to have the deadlines and modalities in mind in order to submit their voice in this important choice and the citizens' decision.
