South German indoor championships: Schober and Braun shine in Karlsruhe!

The athletes of the region show impressive achievements at the South German indoor championships, which took place in Karlsruhe on February 1 and 2, 2025. Alina Kenzel from VfL Waiblingen demonstrated her strength in the shot put with 17.81 meters.

The U18 competitions also offered exciting duels. Johanna Göring (SV Salamander Kornwestheim) jumped 1.85 meters in the high jump and thus secured victory in her age group. Marec Metzger (TSV Gomaringen) was successful over 110 meters of hurdles and also won the pole vault with 4.50 meters.

The southern German championships 2025 have already raised great expectations, not least because of the high number of reports - 1,530 athletes registered, which corresponds to an increase of 30 percent compared to the previous year.
