Today, on April 1, 2025, the Germersheim region in the Rhein-Neckar metropolitan region will be enriched with a new online booking portal for experiences in the South Palatinate. This enables visitors to book city tours, bike tours and hikes easily and conveniently. The offer aims to facilitate access to regional attractions and offer guests a digital experience.

Anette Kloos, the district deputy for tourism, emphasizes the importance of digitization for the tourism sector. "We want to increase the service for our guests and determine the digital presence of our offers," she explains.
