New wind at the Tafel Germersheim: Hoffmeister takes over the helm!

Die Tafel Germersheim e.V. has a new chairman: Karl-Heinz Hoffmeister. The election took place on February 7, 2025 in the "Stadtgarten" in Germersheim. Hoffmeister succeeds Werner Seessle, who, after 18 years of voluntary work, of which 15 years as chairman, no longer stood for election for personal reasons. Sessle thanked the founding members, including Harald Ahr, Alexandra Seessle and Marcus Schaile, for their support during his term.

The guests of the election event included the district administrator Martin Brandl and Mayor Marcus Schaile from the CDU, who honored Sessle for his extraordinary life's work. After relieving the old board of directors, Volker Hensel led the new elections, which led to the following results:

important fundraisers

The collection of food, which mainly consisted of crops and packaged, durable foods, was organized by Franz Dengel and Rene Walter. The donations were collected by parishes from Bellheim, Freisbach, Germersheim, Westheim, Lustadt, Rülzheim, Schwegenheim and Zeiskam, with several trips necessary for the pick -up.

Ute Heintz and Franz Dengel handed the donations in the Protestant church in Schwegenheim. Gratefully for the large number of food surviving, Werner Sessle, Karl-Heinz Hoffmeister, Alexandra Seessle and the volunteers of the Tafel ask for a thank you to all donors. The Tafel Germersheim has been committed to supporting people in the region for many years and is happy about the generous support of the community.
