125 years 1. FC Kaiserslautern: Festures and highlights are pending!

The 1. FC Kaiserslautern is a special year: in 2025 the traditional club celebrated its 125th anniversary. In order to make the celebrations properly, an extensive program was presented in a press conference under the direction of CEO Wolfgang Erfurt and Daniel Stich, the head of the organizational committee.

The goal of the anniversary is to actively involve all members of the so-called FCK family in the celebrations. A committee was created specifically for this purpose. The planned events take place partly in the stadium, partly on the Fröhnerhof and downtown of Kaiserslautern. The highlights include a big fan festival that will take place on the founding day of the club, June 2, 2025, as well as a club festival on June 14th and an anniversary game against a well-known opponent in the second half of July.

In April 2025, the interactive family exhibition "Football fever-football history (s) from Rhineland-Palatinate" opens in a former building in the city center. This should remain open at least until October 2025. In addition, the association is more visible through various club logos and foils in the city to duly appreciate the anniversary. A soccer court for children and adolescents on the town hall forecourt is also planned.

The FCK supporters can also look forward to numerous top-class guests from sport, politics, society and culture at the fan festival, where club legends and possibly the FCK fan Mark Forster will be represented. Other planned activities include the Lotto Elf game against a FCK tradition team, a fan club tournament and a game of the women's team. The 1. FC Kaiserslautern will also be present at the Altstadtfest in July 2025.

The celebrations promise a full program with numerous highlights and special merchandising offers, including an anniversary junction for the loyal fans. Further details on the program items are published in due course to ensure that all FCK supporters can enjoy the anniversary.
