The victory against NK Bravo comes at an important time for the 1. FC Kaiserslautern. After 17 game days in the first half of the season, the team is in the ninth place in the table of the 2nd Bundesliga with 26 points. The last competitive game before the winter break was lost against 1. FC Köln with 0: 1. Cologne currently leads the table with 31 points and is therefore autumn champion.
