weather conditions during the fire

The weather conditions in the West Palatinate were rather cool. The temperatures moved between -2 and +1 degrees, which further increased the challenges for the fire brigade in this critical situation. In particular, the cold temperatures, with a maximum of -1 degrees in the north Palatinate mountain country and up to 1 degree on the Glan, made the operating conditions difficult.
