First booking fair in the Sayner Hütte inspires readers and authors

The first book fair in the Sayner Hütte took place last weekend, January 25th and 26th, 2025, in Rhineland-Palatinate. This literary event attracted numerous visitors and offered a varied program for book lovers. The venue was the Krupp’sche Halle, which was ideal for the event and created an inviting atmosphere.

A special highlight of the book fair was the benefit crime night on Saturday evening, which took place from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The entrance fee for this event was 10 euros and the income benefited from a social purpose. The crime night was organized in the old villa behind the Krupp’s Halle and represented a captivating experience for crime fans.

In addition to the readings, various children's actions were also offered, which made the book fair a family -friendly event. A writing competition for young authors gave young talents the opportunity to submit their adventure stories.

The book fair was opened with a kick -off event on January 23 under the title "Welcome to Eden Lake". 5 euros were requested for admission to this event. The guests were spoiled by the Andreas Mader winery.

The opening times of the fair were on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Entry to the book fair only cost 3 euros, while under 17-year-olds were able to participate free of charge. Tickets for the crime night and "Welcome to Eden Lake" were available in advance to control the number of participants.
