New living space in Koblenz: Over 300 apartments are to be built!

The federal government plans to improve the living situation in Koblenz. According to SWR , the upcoming construction projects are in direct connection with the growing need for living space for federal officers, soldiers and Federal police. A total of more than 300 new apartments are to be built, the project on the Pfaffendorfer Höhe includes both new buildings and comprehensive renovation measures of existing apartment buildings.

From next year, around 250 apartments will be comprehensively renovated. Among other things, this measure includes the increase in the buildings, which gains an additional 200 apartments, while the construction of 100 new apartments will further increase the offer. The residential complex will also benefit from a comprehensive redesign of the outdoor facilities.
