The anticipation for a special cultural event in Pirmasens is great: On Sunday, March 16, 2025, a musical reading entitled "Venice" takes place in the Carolinensaal. The event begins at 11 a.m. and is presented by the talented Madeleine Giese and the versatile Rainer Furch.

The reading promises a literary-musical foray through the romantic, but also the less idyllic side of the city of Venice. As part of this matinée, the musicians of the Duos Icstring, consisting of Caroline Buser (violoncello) and Ivan Knezevic (violin), will perform a varied program.
