Despite these efforts, tough flowing traffic and traffic jams cannot be ruled out, which could face challenges in the region. The A620 provides for further restrictions in the near future. From May 31 to June 3, 2024, the directional lane will be closed to Luxembourg. In these periods, road users have to adjust to additional diversions, which lead to Wehrden, for example, via the L271 and the different streets. The construction work is partly planned in response to the necessary renovation of the Rosseltal Bridge near Völklingen-Wehrden from June, with the first construction phase from the beginning of June to the end of July 2024, as from autobahn.de reported.

In order to minimize the effects on traffic, the establishment of these construction sites is preferred at night and at night.
