New city poster by Jana Schell inspires Speyerer with great motifs!
On February 22, 2025, the “Schoptlad” in Speyer expanded its range with a new city poster. The poster, designed by the illustrator Jana Schell from Landau, impressively shows some of Speyer's best -known sights and traditions. The motifs shown include the cathedral, the Altpörtel, the pretzel festival, the summer day train and the climbing spider in the cathedral garden.
Jana Schell exchanged intensively with various people from Speyer when designing the poster. Their goal was to present the city from different perspectives. In addition to her new work for Speyer, Schell has previously designed posters for the cities of Landau, Trier and Ludwigsburg. In her artistic work, she also illustrates children's books, creates family portraits and develops motifs for magazines and clothing. She lives with her family in Landau.
