Equality in focus: Events for Women's Day in the district

In 2025, the district of Südliche Weinstraße organizes the “Bread and Roses” series of events to draw attention to women's rights and gender equality on the occasion of International Women's Day. This traditional series takes place in the region on March 8, a date that is used worldwide to celebrate these important topics. This year the series is wearing the subtitle "Equal Opportunities Week" for the first time. This event was free of charge, but the registration phase had already passed and all places were fully booked. However, a waiting list was available for interested women.
