On February 10, 2025, Dr. Karl-Wilhelm Christian adopted as a senior emergency doctor in the Westerwaldkreis. The volunteering, which he exercised over 16 years, ends after reaching the legal age limit. dr. Christian looks back on an impressive professional career. Born and raised in Hachenburg, he studied human medicine and then worked scientifically at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. Later he took over the position of the chief physician of anesthesia and the medical management at the DRK composite health care center Altenkirchen-Hachenburg.

Although he is now retiring, Dr. Christian to continue to provide support in the home hospital, especially in the event of a lack of personnel. In his farewell speech, he thanked for the good cooperation during his time in volunteering.
