On Sunday, May 4th, the city center of Bendorf is transformed into a flourishing market: the annual Bendorf farmers and garden market invites you to an experience of a special kind from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Over 130 exhibitors present their products on the church square, Entenengasse, the main street, Bachstrasse and in the city park. Participation promises a colorful variety of regional products and handmade decorations.

The offer ranges from perennials, potted plants, flower and vegetable cots to trendy microgrün. In terms of floristic decorations, door wreaths and garden accessories can be discovered. Craftsmen also present works made of clay, ceramics, iron and wood. Culinary, visitors can expect a selection of exquisite regional products, including cheese, fruit, vegetables, honey and fish specialties. Drink options are of course also available.

The official opening of the market takes place on the stage on the church square at 1 p.m. Mayor Christoph Mohr and Henning Deuster, the first chairman of the advertising community, will welcome the guests. In addition to the festive atmosphere, an information stand by the city administration and the advertising community provides additional information.

A highlight is the "Green Discover Lounge" at the VHS building. Here visitors can learn more about climate protection and sustainability, while a mobile city garden invites you to linger. In addition to musical entertainment by Andreas Nilges, an extensive program in the city park also offers a wide range of hands -on activities for children, including tree climbing and archery.

As part of the market, an exhibition of historical classic car tractors and modern agricultural technology will be shown. In addition, the breed wing breeding association Vallendar Poultry, goats and ponies from Andreas Deurer presents. Artisans show their diverse works that invite you to browse and buy. Special estates such as Hof Vierwindenberg and Plant A Friend promise additional attractions.

The organization of the Bendorfer farmers and garden markets takes place by the city of Bendorf in close cooperation with the Bendorf and Aktiv Sayn advertising association.
