Discovery journey into the world of The Three Question Charges: Aiga quickly enthusiastic!

The exhibition "Aiga Rasch and the Secret Insights" in the Mennonitekirche Stadtgalerie, Neuwied, is on the home stretch and can still be visited until January 26th. The focus is on the “three question marks” and the cover designer Aiga Rasch, who lived from 1941 to 2009. The gallery manager Benita Roos reports on the excellent response of the visitors and emphasizes that the exhibition includes original drawings, alternative designs and rare props.

A special highlight will be the fan talk on January 26, in which Andreas Ruch, illustrator and author, insights into his work and the fascination around the "three ???" will give. Ruch, born in 1978, has been a big fan of this series since childhood. He started fan art and fan fiction in 2018 and became both author and illustrator in the period 2020/2021. His own artistic style was influenced by Aiga Rasch's works. Ruch describes the design of posters for the exhibition as a special honor.

The exhibition offers fans of the "three question marks" a unique opportunity to see almost 100 cover, which has quickly designed for Kosmos Verlag for over 30 years. In this special exhibition, original drawings and alternative designs from AIGA can also be discovered quickly, which were used in the youth crime series. Aiga quickly designed over 500 book cover and around 5000 interior illustrations for around 50 publishers.

The Mayor Jan Uninig described the "three question marks" as a cult and generation experience. Visitors can also look forward to a supporting program with film screenings, tours, radio play evenings, fan talks and readings. The events include a special demonstration in the program cinema "Minski" of the film "The three ??? Inheritance of the kite." Tickets for the film are available in the Metropol Cinema.

The city gallery is open on Wednesdays to Fridays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 12 noon to 6 p.m. Entry is 5 euros for adults and 2 euros for children, while the fan talk costs 10 euros, including a visit to the exhibition. Registration for the fan talk is required by email.
