Rhineland-Palatinate Day 2025: Music, fun and big stars in Neustadt!

The Rhineland-Palatinate Day 2025 is just around the corner and promises an exciting event for the region. The city of Neustadt an der Weinstraße becomes the scene of these important celebrations from May 23 to 25, 2025. The Südwestrundfunk (SWR) is represented with a comprehensive entertainment program on all three days. The start of the festival weekend will take place on Friday, May 23rd, with the show "Stadt Land Quiz - The Show!" At 8:15 p.m., moderated by Jens Hübschen. In addition to exciting questions from different subject areas, the SWR Big Band, Queens of Soul and Curtis Stigers appear. The Neustadt team is supported by Rebecca Simoneit-Barum.

On Saturday, May 24th, the event will be opened at 2 p.m. on the forecourt of the hall building. Here visitors can expect the “living music box”, where music requests can be expressed. Between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. the "public singing" with Peter Kühn and Helen Forster takes place. The high point of the day is the big 80s show from 8:30 p.m. The band Pop History, the British Multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Nik Kershaw, as well as Alexander Kerbst, who has been playing the role of Falco in "Falco-Das Musical" since 2017. The final ceremony on Sunday, May 25th, is also a highlight. The "Kika comes to you!"
