Construction site on the B 9: road users! Start renovation work!
from May 5th to 15th, 2025, the B 9 will lead to renovation work on the Kettiger Hangbrücke between Neuwied and Kettig/Weißenthurm. These measures concern both the directions of travel towards Koblenz and Bonn, whereby the work is carried out in the DSK process. The aim of this renovation is the economic and environmentally friendly preservation of the street.
The start of the work is planned for May 5th, with the left lane in the direction of Koblenz. The total length of the renovation route is about 1,200 meters. In order to regulate traffic during the construction work, single -track traffic will occur at the construction site. In addition, the departure load for the B 256 in the direction of Neuwied is blocked during this time so that a detour to the next junction is required.
Details on the renovation work
The renovation work includes several important measures. This includes closing cracks in the road, improving the grip and the elimination of tracks. All of these measures contribute to extending the lifespan of the street and increasing the safety of road users.
In addition to the renovation in May, construction work will take place on the B 9 from April 22nd to 30th, 2025. These also include ceiling renovation in the DSK process, with the right lane being processed towards Koblenz. The length of this construction phase is about 2,000 meters, followed by work on the left lane towards Bonn. Here, too, a single -track detour is set up on the construction site, and the road users are asked for special caution.
traffic situation and information
The company Kutter Specialstrasse construction from Siershahn is responsible for the renovation measures. The state company Mobility Cochem-Koblenz points out that road users have to expect restrictions due to the construction site situation. A look at the mobility atlas at traffic.rlp.de can provide current information on the traffic conditions.
The residents and commuters are asked to drive the construction site areas with caution and, if necessary, plan alternative routes. The renovation work is an important step for the long -term preservation of the street infrastructure in the region and should help to improve traffic safety.
