Drug test at the e-scooter driver: Traffic control in Neuwied strikes!

On December 27, 2024,

in Neuwied, a 32-year-old driver of an electric scooter was subjected to a police control at around 1 p.m. in the early afternoon. This took place on Beringstrasse after the officials noticeable drug abnormalities with the driver.

A drug test carried out was positive, which is why a blood sample was taken. The driver was not allowed to continue his journey, and an administrative offense procedure was initiated against him. No further information is currently known about the exact drug use of the driver.
