In fact, the German Chess Bundesliga is considered the strongest competition worldwide, which makes the triumph of the DSK even more remarkable.

international attention and player

The success of the Düsseldorf chess club was not only recognized in Germany. The championship victory was pursued in particular in India, where several DSK players play for the national team. Before the last match day, the DSK was in the table with a lead of three points. The team competed in the 1st chess league and was supported by main sponsor Wadim Rosenstein.

for Rosenstein was the championship title of particular importance because he played on the eighth board and despite his defeat against Lukas Winterberg, the team did not get the team out of the concept. With 4.5 collected points, the DSK secured the title, while Arjun Erigaisi was active on the top board when the cheers over the championship title began. This strong performance in the competition shows that the DSK will continue to be present on the international chess stage.

solemn recognition

Next Saturday, the DSK is planning a solemn event to celebrate the championship success, whereby this should take place within a reasonable framework. In the league there were also remarkable results on the last matchday, including a victory of the Hamburger SK 5.5: 2.5 against SF Bad Mergentheim, while Julian Kramer secured the major championship title.

This championship title is part of the long history of the German Chess Championships, which originated before the founding of the German Chess Association in 1877. In the past centuries, the chess in Germany has been going through numerous changes and developments, but the DSK has fought for a permanent place in this inheritance. Despite the challenges of modern competition, the fascination and respect for chess remains unbroken.

For the DSK and its supporters, this title is not only another success, but also a sign of the strength and future of chess in Germany. The DSK has shown that persistence and talent are the key to triumph.
