Carnival of the stars: Horst Schlämmer inspires in Erpel!
On 02.02.2025 the ceremonial meeting of the Great Erpeler Carnival Society (GEK) took place in a sold -out sports hall. The event was a highlight of the regional carnival and attracted numerous visitors. The mood was exuberant, and a special guest also heated the audience: "Horst Schlämmer", embodied by Stefan Heck, known for his parody of Hape Kerkeling.
"Horst Schlämmer" searched for his rabbit that evening and at the same time presented his new election program. This mixture of entertainment and political allusions showed slurry ability to combine humor with contemporary social criticism. His appearance was peppered with allusions, which impresses with both his own creativity and its best -known characteristics - such as the moist pronunciation and a touch of alcohol -
diverse appearances and thrilling performances
The event was not only shaped by slurry appearance. Local dancers of the GEK and handmade speakers contributed to the exuberant atmosphere. Guest dancers such as the "Rut Wiesse Strünzbüggel" and mood bands such as "Klääv Botze" and the Erpeler "Goulashkapell" also provided the best entertainment. These performances testify to the deep roots of the carnival in local culture and the joy of communal celebrations.
In the past, "Horst Schlämmer" first appeared in 2005 in the late show by Harald Schmidt. At that time, Hape Kerkeling presented the figure in a humorous context, which suggested the audience both amusement and to think. The figure is now legendary and is described as deputy editor -in -chief of the Grevenbroich Tagblatt, which underlines the satirical ambitions of Kerkeling.
The humor of "Horst Schlämmer" is not only designed to entertain. Rather, the character often puts social grievances into the light and conveys a kind of reality that some understand more than they initially want to believe. This combination of wit and sharp criticism makes the figure timelessly.
Hape Kerkeling itself is known for his disguises, which often serve as a comment on social norms. In 1991 he appeared in the cladding of a queen, which already indicates his ability to switch identities and captivate the audience. His talent to embody different characters was once again demonstrated during the appearance of "Horst Schlämmer" in the Rhineland.
The event in Erpel reminds you of how important humor and cultural performances are for the community. It connects people and lets her forget everyday life for a few hours. In the future, too, "Horst Schlämmer" will certainly keep a place in the carnival family and inspire people with their appearances.
