The Pauluskirche in Pirmasens was the scene of a rousing concert evening on Friday evening. Selina-Sophie Vierling and Elias Zobeley, known as the duo "S to the Z", performed in front of 170 enthusiastic spectators. The two artists are known to reinterpret songs from classic rock and pop and took the audience on an acoustic journey through well -known melodies.

Zobeley opened the evening with the soulful “Book of Love” by Peter Gabriel. His remarkable phrasing came into its own in the pieces "First Cut" by Rod Stewart and "Everything She does is magic" by The Police. The audience was entertained during the entire concert by the humorous announcements and the relaxed conversations between the two. A highlight was the harmonious interaction at "Take It Easy" from the Eagles, where the chemistry of the duo was clearly noticeable.

The concert offered numerous other highlights, including “Heart of Gold” by Neil Young, in which Zobeley also played the harmonica in addition to the guitar.

Vierling impressed with strong performances, including "I don’t Wanna Lose your Love Tonight" by The Outfield and "I love you always forever" by Donna Lewis. The duo also showed his skills at "Dancing in the Moonlight" by Toploader and the emotional ballad "Father & Son" by Cat Stevens, where Zobeley played the Blues Harp. Spontaneously they integrated a piano version of "Piano Man" into their set, which the audience also delighted.
