Ralph-Uwe Orth, a long-time board member of VR-Bank Lahn-Dill, ended his professional career after 47 years and retires. This decision was made on April 30, 2025 and marked the end of a remarkable career that began in 1978 with training as a bank clerk at Volksbank Eibelshausen.

Orth has gone through numerous management positions during this time, especially in the credit sector and as a corporate customer consultant. He also worked as an instructor, which means that he was able to pass on his extensive knowledge to many young young people. He reached his first milestone in 1991 with the procuration of the procuration, followed by the appeal to the board of the Volksbank Dill in 2007. In this function, Orth was strategically responsible for the further development of the bank.
