Aid campaign in Advent: Volksbank supports homeless people in Bruchsal!

The Volksbank Kraichgau campaigned for a noble purpose on December 13, 2024 at the Bruchsal Advent market in the Ehrenhof. Coffee and cake were sold from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. to support the region from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. On this entrepreneurial day, Dimitrios Meletoudis, Andreas Hahn and Holger Neubauer worked as a sales assistant, accompanied by other employees of the cooperative bank.

The proceeds from the sale of over € 500 benefited the Julius Hedicine House in Bruchsal. This facility offers help for homeless people and uses the donations for fast individual aid, for example for food packages and in the clothing store. The cooperative idea "many more" was a central motive for the action.

In addition to the engagements on the Advent market, the Volksbank Kraichgau offered an online advent calendar to actively shape the pre-Christmas season. The advent calendar contains 24 doors, behind which different profits are hidden. These range from an original jersey of the Adler Mannheim to two day tickets for the palm paradise of the Thermen & Badewelt Sinsheim to Apple Airpods.

In order to take part in the competition, a door had to be opened every day and a competition question was answered, which referred to both Christmas and banks. For participants who had difficulties, support was offered with the questions. Participation in all 24 days was possible. It was pointed out that the 2019 advent calendar ended and the Volksbank Kraichgau thanked for the numerous participations.
