On January 31, 2025, two married couples were awarded for their outstanding social engagement in Rhineland-Palatinate in a solemn event in Kleinniedesheim Castle. Stefanie and Gerhard Karl Jung from Bobenheim-Roxheim as well as Heike and Heiko Schwerdel from Bürstadt received the badge of honor of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate. This award is awarded by the Prime Minister and recognizes people for extraordinary achievements in the service of the community.
District Administrator Clemens Körner (CDU) presented the award in the name of the Prime Minister and emphasized in his speech that all honored honor would have earned this honor.
