The reception was technically organized by Marco Hartmann and relied on a festive stage design. The music association "Musketiere" Böhl musically framed the event.

The opening took over pastoral officer Eva Grißmer, who took up the topic of new beginnings in her speech. A highlight of the evening was the traditional move in the carnivalists, accompanied by the "Palatinate Büttenmarsch". The new moderator Andreas Scherer explained important social issues and advocated more satisfaction.

a review and outlook

Andreas Scherer thanked the many volunteers for their commitment, which shapes the community. In addition to the citizens, Mayor Peter Christ also welcomed numerous guests of honor, including District Administrator Johannes Zehfuß and Member of the Bundestag Christian Schreider. In his speech, Christ addressed the current challenges through social acceleration, digitization and globalization.

he gave an outlook on the upcoming elections on February 23, which affect both the district election and the Bundestag election. cultural contributions and volunteering

The Iggelheim singing association under the direction of Christian Wohlert delighted the audience with performances such as "Gloria" and "A Million Dream". During the event, the review of the European and local elections in June 2024 was also recognized. Christa Bug resigned as an equal opportunities officer after 26 years and handed it over to Selina Wiegand.

look at the community

The Böhl-iggelheim volunteer fire brigade had a total of 104 missions in 2024, which underlines the commitment of the firefighters. It should also be emphasized that the municipality has been debt -free since January 1, 2025. Further road construction measures and the planning of new wind turbines are planned for the future.

The evening was designed by a colorful program, including appearances by the active guard of the Böhler Hängsching and the youth show group "Junge Feger", which demonstrated the dance "Cinderella - The Crown of Revenge". Prince Jannik invited Mayor Peter Christ to the stage, while the whole thing ends with a appearance of the show dance group "Just Dance" and the flying march of the music club "Musketiere".

An unforeseen event caused joy when a bird, a star, had got into the hall and was brought outside by Kurt Przybylovicz. Andreas Scherer concluded the evening with the words: "Meet more than on the Internet. Good New Year!"

The next opportunity to take part in a New Year's reception will be on January 12, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. in the Wahagnieshalle, as on the Official website of the municipality announced.
