Honorable award: four domestic people honored for their tireless efforts
On April 30, 2025, four committed citizens were awarded the Honor Badge of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate in the Mayen-Koblenz district. The honor took place in the district house, and District Administrator Marko Boos presented the awards in the name of Prime Minister Alexander Schweitzer. In his speech, Boos emphasized the decades of commitment to the honored and thanked their families for the support that they experienced in their voluntary work.

- Hermann-Josef Baecker from Kobern-Gondorf: He is involved in local politics as well as in clubs and is committed to work and youth sports.
