Rainer Dörrzapf, born on March 6, 1950 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, soon celebrates his 75th birthday and looks back on an impressive career as a weightlifter. After surviving children's paralysis, he discovered the weight lifting in 1964, which he learned as a result of his wrestling experience.
