The VFK07 e.V. takes care of the physical well -being with drinks and cakes in the eagle room.

The venues are within walking distance, but an arrival is recommended by bike, since the Kirchenstrasse is partially closed. Free parking spaces are available in the surrounding streets as well as in the Adlerhof and in the Rathaushof.

a year full of celebrations

The anniversary in Schifferstadt should not only be a look back at the history of the city, but also offer an outlook on the future. In addition to the day of the open town hall door, there will be a theme party in the style of the 1950s on September 6th in the forest festival hall with live music. The highlight will be the ceremony in the auditorium of the Paul-von-Denis school center on October 1st.

City marketing has invited the Schifferstadt institutions to participate in the anniversary campaigns in order to honor the achievements of the city fathers together and to look into a positive future. As already shown by Christoph Thoma, such city anniversaries are not only celebrations, but also important opportunities to strengthen the community and to redefine the city identity. Citizen participation plays a crucial role here to make the anniversary a real joint project, as is made clear on the Culturelab

In particular, the city administration of Schifferstadt will use the message of the anniversary to devote themselves to clear target ideas and to actively involve the citizens in the planning. The day will not only honor the historical review, but also a bridge to the future and give the participants the opportunity to experience the city from different perspectives.
