The women's team of JSV Speyer also performs well. In the Judo Bundesliga Südwest, they won 10: 4 against Sua Witten and thus secured the lead. Several successful fighters were awarded before the fight: Barbara Matic was honored for her Olympic victory, Seija Ballhaus as the new European champion and Alesia Büttner for her German championship. Nadine Lautenschläger also received honorary membership of the association, as the first woman in this position.
In the game, debutants such as Jolina Reinhold, Charlotte Nettesheim and Emma Listl also performed, with only Jolina lost their fight. At halftime, the JSV Speyer already led 5: 2. Darja Dorowskich increased to 6: 2 before the guests were able to shorten to 6: 4.
