Athletes of the year 2025: Spectacular honors celebrated in Speyer!

The ball of the sport in Speyer has developed into a festive highlight for the local sports community despite the challenges of last year. On February 8, 2025, this popular event took place in the town hall, which once again got numerous guests and players. Organized by the SPEYER City Sports Association, the ball becomes regularly a celebration of sporting performance in the region.

Several changes were made this year. There were a larger number of candidates for awarding the athletes of the year. In addition, a performance was planned less, while the catering surprised with an individual eating culture. This led to a varied offer in the foyer, where visitors could fortify themselves between the honors.

The ball was held in both halls of the town hall. While standard dances with the top tones invited to participate in the large hall, a disco for young people with DJ Carmine Pignatelli took place in the small hall. The athlete of 2022 became Lisa Kiefer, while Mario was crowned faster as an athlete of the year.
