TSV Speyer clears up: three medals at the Gaume Championship!
On April 1, 2025, the Gaume Championship took place at TV Steinweiler, in which TSV Speyer took part with great success. The team competed with a total of four talented gymnasts, with Klemens Brack not participating due to unforeseen circumstances. Despite his absence, the remaining three starters of TSV Speyer won a total of three medals, including two gold medals, which underlines the high level of performance of the association.
The successes of TSV Speyer are not only limited to the Gaumen championship. Klaus Burger, who competed in the age group for over 80 years, took 4th place at the German Senior Championships on May 4, 2024 in Iffezheim with a total number of 30,450 points. His achievements on the floor, jump, bars, bar and side horse were assessed with 10,400, 9.150, 10,800, 9.250 and 8.100 points. Compared to the previous year, when he took the 3rd place, there is a close and hard -fought ranking in his age group.
Special achievements of the gymnasts
The gaid championships themselves were very successful for TSV Speyer participants. Michael Brack and Klemens Brack scored 50-54 in the age group with 39.30 points and thus secured first place. Klaus Burger prevailed with 30.30 points in his age group. The ratings of the two bracks show the high level they have achieved:

preparation and coaching team
The successes of the athletes are the result of intensive preparation by the coaching team. Trainer Esther Münch and Jürgen Klemke specifically prepared the gymnasts for the championships and brought their entire knowledge. Klemens Brack, who emerged in June 2024 at the Rhineland-Palatinate championships in Staecken-Eelsheim, achieved a total number of points of 36.40 points. Gerhard Metz from TV Hatzenbühl, who started in the age group 60-64 at the World Championships in Denver 2024 for the German senior team and became world champion, also shows how strong the competitive landscape is in Rhineland-Palatinate.
The direct success of TSV Speyer and the continuous development in the senior class are not only a reason to celebrate, but also an incentive for future competitions. The team is planning to compete with at least four gymnasts at the championships next year, which indicates sustainable growth and commitment of the association.
