The Hirzeckhaus in the Palatinate Forest has opened the new season with a new play equipment. The popular hut, which is operated by the PWV local group Bad Bergzabern, attracts numerous day trippers. At this tranquil location, visitors have the opportunity to relax in nature and enjoy fresh air. The first warm days already show that the Hirzeckhaus is again a popular destination for hikers and families.

For guests who arrive by car, there are two options. One option is to go to Bad Bergzabern and turn 300 m behind Birkenhördt from the B 427 to the left towards Hirzeckhaus. The first option leads to the forest parking lot "Birkenhördter Linde", followed by a one -hour footpath. The second option uses the forest car park at the Hirzeck summit, which has a shorter hike of about 20 minutes to offer.
