On January 13, 2025, the trial against a 44-year-old man from Speyer ended with an acquittal. The accused had been charged with forgery of money and embezzlement. According to Rheinpfalz there was an allegation that the man as an employed hairdresser in the spring of 2022 Fake 50-euro notes in the cash register of the salon and then took 400 euros.
