Am 31. Januar 2025 kam es in der Mozartstraße in Konz zu einem folgenschweren Wohnungsbrand. At around 1:45 p.m., emergency services were alerted because the fire had broken out in a house. In the extinguishing measures, the firefighters met with several hazardous substances, including explosive devices.
A total of four surrounding apartment buildings were evacuated, which affected around 60 residents.
