The Federal Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety published an important product recall on May 10, 2025. Bio-pumpkin seeds of the health food store are affected, which may be contaminated with salmonella. The consumption of contaminated products is strongly discouraged because Salmonella can pose serious health risks. The symptoms of salmonella infection include diarrhea, abdominal pain, slight fever and occasionally vomiting.
