Blind date with four paws: Get to know dogs in the palace garden!

The TRier animal shelter organizes a special event on January 19, 2025 under the title "Blind Date with four paws". This event offers animal lovers the opportunity to get to know dogs who are looking for a new home in a relaxed atmosphere. It takes place in the picturesque palace garden, right next to the large pond.

From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., interested parties have the opportunity to learn more about the operating animals. The animal shelter team and experienced dog trainers from "Felis-Dog School & Dogwalking" are ready to answer questions about the dogs. Each dog is presented individually for the visitors, whereby information about the character, needs and the history of the dogs is provided.

The event not only offers the opportunity to interact with the dogs, but also the opportunity to talk to coffee and cake. Nevertheless, it should be noted that there will be no direct mediation of dogs during the event. However, visitors who are interested in an adoption can fill out a questionnaire on site to plan the next steps or to meet another meeting, such as going a walk together.

The shelter had great success at the first implementation of this event in August 2024. Around 50 visitors came to get to know 18 dogs. This positive response was shown in four completed bones of prospects and an increase in walkers. Such events are not only sociable, but also promote awareness of the needs of animals from the shelter.
