Ice fun in Trier: Winterland with stick shooting and ice skating fun

The winter country in Trier opened its goals on November 18, 2024 and offers a diverse winter sports experience at the Kornmarkt. The ice rink will be operated by January 26, 2025 and expects numerous visitors with an offer from winter sports, dishes and drinks.

The focus is particularly on stick shooting, which is offered for groups, clubs and companies. A maximum of eight participants can compete in two teams, with a team price of 72 euros. 9 euros will be charged for each additional player, whereby the group can be expanded to a maximum of 12 people. Available slots for this activity are Sunday to Wednesday between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. and from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The ice rink has the following opening times:

  • Monday to Friday: 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (during the holidays from 10:00 a.m.)
  • Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The ice skating times take place every two and a half hour with a half -hour break. The admission prices are staggered as follows:

  • children (6 to 15 years): 4.50 euros
  • Adults (from 16 years): 7 euros
  • group tariffs: from at least 8 participants, 4 euros per child and 5 euros per adult
  • 10er tickets: 40 euros for children and 63 euros for adults

own ice skates can be brought; There is also the possibility to borrow ice skates on site. The loan prices are 5 euros per couple for children and 6 euros per couple for adults.

Special events during the season are on December 5, among other things, when all children receive a chocolate igoleaus, and on December 24th, where free ice skating is offered from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (except rental). The ice rink is open on New Year's Eve from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

For reservations for ice skating and stick shooting, a prior registration by email or WhatsApp is required, and it is pointed out that the operators reserve the right to close the ice skating area in unfavorable weather conditions.
