The Vet Concept Gladiators Trier won the fourth quarter-final game in the basketball playoff series against the Tigers Tübingen on May 9, 2025. With this success, the team from the Moselle city moves into the semi -finals with a series result of 3: 1. The decisive game took place in the Paul Horn-Arena and was followed by 2,055 spectators who experienced an exciting duel.

Best thrower of the Gladiators was the Iranian player Behnam Yakhchali, who scored 29 points, 15 points of which in the first eight minutes of the last quarter. Despite a strong initial tour of the Tübinger, which meanwhile led with 77:65, Trier was able to win the upper hand at the crucial moment of the game.
