10 years of Neunkirchner company run: a spectacle for young and old!
The 10th Neunkirchner company run is just around the corner and promises to become a sporty highlight in the region. This popular event will take place on June 12th at 7 p.m., organized by Schneider Holding and Raiffeisenbank Wr. Neustadt-Schneebergland. Participants can be happy to manage the five -kilometer route either running or walking. The route begins in front of the Raiffeisenbank in Neunkirchen and leads through the panorama park, the city center and the city park, to the destination back to Raiffeisenstrasse.
The Orthuber dealership will be there as a partner this year. Karl Orthuber, the owner, sees participation in the company run as a healthy tradition for the city. "It is an excellent way to promote the cooperation of companies and the importance of health," says Orthuber. His employees will start in running shoes and sports jerseys to get moving together.
participation and supporting program
The Neunkirchner company run, which has been taking place annually since 2015, is constantly attracting around 1,800 participants. Companies, clubs, public organizations and schools are invited to register in teams from three to six runners or walkers. A moderated group warm-up ensures that all participants are well prepared for the competition. The route is accompanied by rousing workout music, which ensures a motivating atmosphere.
An early bonus of 10 % on the entry fee applies until April 20 and offers additional motivation to register early. For more information about the event, interested parties can visit the official website www.firmenlauf-neunkirchen.at
Comparison to other running events
In the context of larger running events in Austria, the Neunkirchner company run stands out as one of the most frequented company runs. While the Vienna City Marathon and the Vienna Energie Business Run are the largest running events in the country, the company run in Neunkirchen is a magnificent example of local sports culture and community. The Vienna Energie Business Run, for example, attracts numerous participants annually in the second half of the year who want to compete with their colleagues and often reaches high number of participants.
The high participation and the team spirit that prevail at the Neunkirchner company run are a sign of how important such events are for local identity and the sense of community. The Neunkirchner company run will not only reward sporting performance, but also strengthen the social ties within the participating companies.
